This painting is 36"x48". The theme is a stained-glass style family tree concept incorporating many spiritual themes. It was hard to photograph as I used a bunch of light-play elements:  a rose gold border on all the elements, and reflective and interference paints. It is truly an interactive experience. In the examples of the two images with the people, I tried to capture that the people, who live in the negative spaces in the branches, are nearly imperceptible when looking at the painting straight on, but show up as shimmering light beings if you view the painting at an angle.

This light and color play has planted a firm desire for me to explore this technique in other formats and subjects. How fun!
